Welcome to my little slice of virtual heaven! I am so excited to have this creative platform, from which I can share my creative goodies as well as my teaching ideas, lessons, and products. This website has been completed in my mind for many years, but it is finally a reality and I can't tell you how thrilled I am to have this up and running. There have been so many times that I have been working on something that I feel so excited about and wanted to share the backstory on, but I never had a place large enough to allow for that. NOW I have it! YEAH!

A quick overview of what this blog will entail. I am constantly working on new projects at home, for my classroom, and just for fun. I will share household decor, stuff, teacher stuff, and just basic lover-of-all-things-crafty stuff! A hodgepodge of randomness, if you will.

Since the COVID nonsense, I have done more projects than I can count with my husband here at home. We had our entire house painted, we did a backsplash in our kitchen, we did a little landscape updating, we added a giant chalkboard wall to our hallway, and most recently, we figured out a way to give our old interior doors a facelift so that now, they look brand new. You can check out the ideas below -- I also put a link to where you can find the how-to info on how to do the doors in the images, so just click the image to visit the website where I found this idea.

Pic of our doors!

My chalkboard, however, was an Emily Brown original, so I don't have a link, but I can tell you how I did it in 3 easy steps. 1) Measure and draw out your chalkboard on your wall space and paint. I used -Oleum's basic chalkboard paint. 2) Purchase some wood to match your measurements and stain it to your liking. I used this walnut stain. Have your dad (in my case) cut the angles PERFECTLY so that they fit together. (He used a circular saw to do this.)  3) Make your husband hang it on the wall using whatever tool he has. We used some 3" nails and a drill. Done! This was one of the easier projects I ever did and I do so love the way it turned out.

Let's see, what else? OH YEAH! This little ole' website! Ha! You can see that this is a one-stop-shop for all of my creative happenings. You can purchase any of my invitations straight from this website, as well as my fonts, printables, and all sorts of other goodies. For now, the "TEACHER SHOP" button on my homepage will take you to my TpT store. I do hope to also have those products listed here soon, with the intention of giving my blog readers/website subscribers first dibs on discounted products. More info on that in the works!
