My Valentine crafts are a bit out of control this year, but hey -- if it makes ya' happy, I say go for it. I was on the brink of putting up a Valentine tree, and I thought that was overkill, so I'm saving that idea for next year.  😍

My initial project idea for my hallway chalkboard (homemade -- you can click here to read how we did it) included text at the bottom, but once I had the first part of the design up, I didn't think it needed it. Plus, my spacing was off and it would need to be moved up about a foot in order for it to look right, so I just left it as-is. I really actually love the simplicity of it!

If you have been thinking about putting up a chalkboard in your home, I say go for it! This is such a good piece to have in our hallway that is just too narrow to put any furniture in. I use it all the time -- and now that I figured out a way to incorporate my Cricut, I don't have to stress about how it's gonna look, because....stencils! We've had it up for about a year and a half now, and it's almost time for a new coat of chalkboard paint. But other than that, it's super low-maintenance. We love it!

This project required a larger-than-my-mat cut, so if you want to learn more about how to do that, click here or watch the video below. I did use one of my SVGs that I have available here

Short and sweet little post! I made a wooden sign with my most popular Valentine's Day design and I'll be back later this week to show you how I did that one, too. I also figured out a way to make my own pom-pom garland out of yarn and it's such a cute way to decorate basically anything in your house for any occasion. I'll show you how I did that as well. Stay tuned!

Thanks for reading!
